
Holiday or business travel can really imperil your exercise plans, especially when you're not out on one of your rigorous adventures.
But fear not, now you can have your trip and exercise, too, with this list of the Top 10 hotel gyms, or 'exercise utopias,' plus one more as a holiday gift.
San Diego's Athletic-Minded Traveler crunched the numbers on more than 3,000 hotels across the country and came up with its top picks list based on facility size, amount of equipment, multi-sport options, and overall ambiance/atmosphere.
Staying at one of these hotels and not working out is akin to visiting a 5-star restaurant and ordering only a bottle of water, company leaders said, in the statement.
So if you're traveling to the following cities over the holidays or on business, check out these top hotels and their gyms:

Houstonian
Ironically, the top gym sits in what some polls call the country's most out-of-shape city. The hotel's 125,000-square-foot health club features 22 ellipticals, 16 treadmills, 14 upright bikes, eight step machines, 35 selectorized weight stations, 12 Hammer Strength free-weight machines. and a 25-yard outdoor lap pool.
Other highlights include the Trellis Spa and Salon, and privileges at the toney and private Redstone Golf Club.

Receive complimentary access to the adjoining Sporting Club at Bellevuea, a 93,000-square-foot fitness behemoth with NBA-sized basketball court, huge surrounding balconies, more than 20 treadmills, nearly 20 recumbent bikes, 15 ellipticals, a dozen upright bikes, seven Stairmasters with plasma TVs, 50 selectorized weight stations, 15 Hammer Strength machines, eight benches, two squat racks and more than 90 group exercise classes.

Another section focuses on strength training with cutting-edge stack-loaded machines, computerized resistance machines, and free weights. Classes include cycling, yoga, and fitness testing.
